2015 Oscars: Best Dressed

The 87th Academy Award marks the final awards show for the season. It is my favorite award show of the season! I think I love it so much because it brings you  back to the early days of Hollywood where it was so full of glamour. I am such a sucker for anything that resembles old Hollywood.

With the hosting of the show this year, although I love Neil Patrick Harris (NPH), I feel he could not surpass Ellen's award show domination from last year. I mean, who could forget the ultimate selfie picture? However, he did have some memorable moments, as seen below:

We expected to see NPH sing and dance, and he got a little help from Anna Kendrick and Jack Black. But I think all of us were shocked when he spoofed Birdman and went on stage wearing only his underwear. That definitely livened up the show.

On top of all of that, we had some memorable moments such as making fun of John Travolta's infamous Idina Menzel name mistake from last year and having Octavia Spencer watch over NPH's coveted Oscar predictions all night.

Unforgettable performances from John Legend and Common singing their Academy Award winning song from Selma, as well as Lady Gaga singing a tribute to The Sound of Music, were unparalleled. It is also incredible that they celebrated 50 years since the release of The Sound of Music. Time has passed by so quickly.

It is with great disappoint that awards season has come to a close. However, we had some great fashion on the red carpet—especially during The Oscarsthat definitely made history. I've had a really hard time tonight deciding on who gets my top award, but to see all my Best Dressed picks from fashion's biggest night, please scroll through the gallery below.

2015 Grammys: Best Dressed

The Grammys are one of my favorite red carpet awards shows because you see the music world take the biggest fashion risks on any red carpet all year.

Black dominated on the red carpet this time, which was unusual for this award show as the metallics and crazy colors usually take over. However, Taylor Swift did bust out a teal Elie Saab number and Iggy Azalea wore a cobalt blue Armani Privé that just dazzled. I would have loved to see more risky colors or styles, but there were still plenty to choose from.

One thing I couldn't keep my eyes off of were all the plunging necklines. I wonder how much tape they had to use? From Kim K to Beyoncé to Nicki Minaj, I am sure they had to use more than the average amount.

To see all the looks that made my list, please scroll through the slideshow below.

Awards season is almost over, but don't worry we still the Oscars to look forward to!
