If you saw my post on Jonathan & Jessica's engagement, then you already know how special it was to photograph my childhood friend as she married the her prince charming. I was so touched when they asked me not only to photograph their engagement, but their wedding as well. When I first met Jonathan, it was one of our first meetings for the wedding. I thought to myself, "He is perfect for Jessica in every way." That thought held very true. Even as the wedding day became closer, you could see the excitement in both of their faces.
Once the big day arrived, there was so much excitement in the air. It was very surreal to see my friend getting ready on her wedding day! As each moment passed, I couldn't help but reminisce about the times we all shared in Jessica's parents' home.
One of the most special moments was when Jessica walked out in her beautiful, white wedding gown. She was a vision. But the expression on her family's face, especially her father's, was priceless. You could feel so much love in the room as we prepared to leave for the church.
We arrived at the church just in time; not a minute late. As everyone got into place, the anticipation was rising as the ceremony started. Jonathan looked up the aisle with excited as one by one, the bridesmaids came closer. As the doors opened, Jonathan's face lit up in such a way that it was hard not to smile; Jessica was also beaming back at him. They were both so incredibly filled with a beautiful happiness and peace.
There couldn't have been a more perfect day for these two wonderful people.
Jessica & Jonathan: Thank you so much for allowing me to capture such a special day in your life. It was such a pleasure to see how happy you make each other. I can't think of two more perfect people for each other. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Many blessings as you begin the next chapter of your lives together.
