Pinterest

The other day, I decided to visit Pinterest, a site I kept hearing about. I wanted to know what all the commotion was about and why people were so addicted. It was not long after that when I joined the website and quickly got sucked in.

Pinterest is a social catalog. Pin things you love to online pinboards and share them with friends. Follow tastemakers to discover great new things. Pinterest makes the process painless by offering a Pin It button that lets you grab pictures of your favorite things as you browse the Web. The site then collects the images on "boards" that other users can follow and comment on. Posts can include picturesque travel scenes, girly wedding photos, baking or food tips, home and furniture inspiration, among other topics. Time Magazine also considers Pinterest one of the 50 best websites of 2011.

Either way, I am addicted to all that Pinterest has to offer. I can spend hours looking at other peoples post, as well a scouring the web for my own inspiration to post. It is a simple way to share cool things with followers while crediting the proper source. Be sure to check out my profile on Pinterest as well.
