Where Do All the Cases Go?

With the release of the iPhone 7, I was beyond ecstatic because I had been using an iPhone 5 for the last 2 years. I patiently waited for the new release and when the day came, I upgraded as an early birthday present to myself. Because of the 2-week wait for the delivery of my new device, this gave me plenty of time to search for the perfect case.

I have to admit, I am a little bit of a klutz (okay, let's be honest, I'm a big klutz). But I'm not a fan of the bulky Otterbox-like cases of the world. I needed a case that would be slim and sleek, but also protect my phone.

As I usually do, I am always looking to customize my products, so a customized case was no different. I was so happy to see that Zazzle was featuring customized phone cases now. While browsing their collection, I came across this marble case and fell in LOVE! I ordered it right away.

After using this case for about a month, I can honestly say it is one of the best I have had. I wanted something slim, but because I alway drop my phone, I needed something durable. Needless to say, this case has withstood my clumsy ways. If I drop my phone, I'm not even worried a bit about the phone breaking, nor the case getting cracked (it has happened to me with some cases).

All in all, this case is not only stylish and customizable, but it is durable as well. Check out this and many other designs on Zazzle today.

It's that time of year again where summer is about to come to a close and fall is about to begin. With the fall comes back-to-school and all the gear necessary for the beginning of a new school year.

Although I am not in school any longer, *sigh*, I still love getting and gifting back-to-school gear. Zazzle has some great custom options for going back to school.

One of the best products I really enjoy are their custom t-shirts. The v-neck ones are not only soft and comfortable, but fit me better in all the right ways where most don't. It's even better that they are customizable! Check out one of the new ones I got here:

I'm a sucker for a great ampersand; it must be the designer in me. The beauty is I can choose one shirt design and put it on any type of shirt--from babies t-shirt to adult mens and anywhere in between. Here is another design I love from them:

Other items that I love for back to school are these great white boards. I need to stay organized and this is the best way to do it. Plus, since I can customize the design, I can separate by the days of the week or just have one large design. This Andes Tribal Aztec design is one of my favorites, and even prettier in person!

However, you'll also love this one for organization!

Last, but not least, my other favorite back-to-school product are the luggage tags. Truly, I have never seen better quality! These luggage tags are hard and durable and I know won't get ruined with all the travel I will do. However, it will also be great for travel for those college students coming back and forth between the dorms and home. This is one of my favorite designs:

I suggest taking advantage of the customization and adding your information to the back as well. Makes it look clean and perfect.

Buon Voyage!

My dear friends, Priscilla and Alayn, were engaged last year in Boston. After seeing them date for so many years, nothing made me happier than to find out they were finally engaged!

Rather than have a traditional wedding, Priscilla and Alayn decided to go to Europe—visiting London, Paris and Italy—for 3 weeks. During the last few days, they planned to get married on the Amalfi Cost. How romantic, right?! It's needless to say, I am extremely jealous. However, since they are getting married overseas, Priscilla asked me to take their engagement photos.

Not only was I truly honored, but the concept Priscilla had was something I had never had the opportunity to photograph before! She had this great travel theme in mind, but wanted to use a real airplane. We tried calling several small or private airports in the area, but none were getting back to her. Until, finally—a breakthrough! Alayn's mom's friend had an airplane! But she didn't have just one, she had two! Did we hit the jackpot or what?

Upon arriving at the location, we learned that they lived in an aeronautical community. How did I never know about this existing in this part of Florida? It was truly surreal to drive up to the home and find an airplane "garage" next to the house. We arrived with plenty of time to shoot such a memorable engagement session at sunset. We even drove around in a golf cart to get the angles we wanted. It was truly magical—Priscilla, Alayn and I kept wanting to pinch ourselves.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I am so blessed that I could share it with my wonderful friends.

Priscilla & Alayn: Bon Voyage and best wishes as you both embark on the this journey. It is the beginning to a lifetime of happiness! Hoping you are having the most beautiful wedding day on the Amalfi Coast. I couldn't be any happier for two people than I am for the both of you. Can't wait to see you in San Francisco soon!
